FunSized Frolicking: NYC Edition

Tourist or not, these are my five 5 favorite spots to frolic in New York City. 1. The High Line             Since the park opened in 2009, it has continued to gain major recognition for its individuality and the uniqueness that comes with it. The High Line isn't like any other park in Manhattan and that is because it hovers above the crowded streets on what used to be freight train tracks.            It now extends from the Meatpacking District on Gansevoort Street all the way up to West 30th. Not only is each section of the High Line different, but with each step, you get an even more captivating view of New York and its surrounding area.           If you're looking for somewhere to relax, people-watch or just enjoy the sights of Manhattan the High Line is the perfect frolicking escape.  (10th Avenue Square Viewpoint on the High Line) 2.  Soho Shopping ...

Asian Chicken Lettuce Wraps

Last week's new recipe for 2013 was DELICIOUS! Unfortunately, I don't have a recipe to share with you because I came up with it all on my own. So, let me share with you on how I prepared these amazing Asian Chicken Lettuce Wraps. Ingredients: -Chicken -Red Pepper -1 Carrot Stick -Chinese Five Spice Blend -Sesame Garlic Sauce -Romaine Lettuce Hearts -Lime *All these ingredients can altered and/or changed to be to your liking!* 1- Cut the chicken into long slices and/or cubes. 2- Season the chicken before putting in the pan with the Chinese Five Spice Blend and some salt and pepper. 3- Cook the chicken in a pan, medium to low heat, in some olive oil with Pam. 4- Cut up the red pepper into cubes and add that to the chicken in the pan. Continue to mix until fully cooked. 5- Shred one carrot stick; and put to the side. 6- Wash individual Lettuce pieces. (As many as you need for as many as you are serving) 7- Heat up a generous amount of the Sesame Garlic Sauce ...

It's getting a little Fishy!

This week's new dish is Parmesan Salmon! It was delicious! I got the recipe once again from Food.com . I made more salmon than the recipe called for, so I obviously doubled the measurements. It really gave the salmon a different flavor than I've ever tried before. Very tasty! Follow me on:   Bloglovin' ,  Twitter ,  YouTube ,  Facebook .

The video you've all been waiting for is here! Check out the video I did for Best Sports Bar in NYC with SportsRev.TV at Tavern on Third in New York City! Thanks for watching! Follow me on:   Bloglovin' ,  Twitter ,  YouTube ,  Facebook .

Outfit of the Day

Let's get a little FunSized Fashion going on! This is what I wore yesterday when we were shooting at Tavern on Third for Best Sports Bar in NYC .  I am a wearing a Joie Marru top in Nile blue. The way this top photographs and looks in person is a bit different. In person, it has more of a purple hue in it. Joie is a great shop! They have multiple locations throughout New York City, and they are also available at Bloomingdales! Along with some Guess Skinny Jeans and Jeffrey Campbell Litas, I was ready for a day in front of the camera. Follow me on:   Bloglovin' ,  Twitter ,  YouTube ,  Facebook .

New Year Detox!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! I hope you all had a great evening celebrating. I'm really looking forward to what 2013 has in store! To start the year off right my friend and I will be doing Dr. Oz's 3 Day Detox Cleanse (see photo below)! We are going to start it tomorrow! I did all the shopping today... we changed a few of the ingredients around but it'll still do the same thing. This is my first cleanse and I'm really looking forward to it. Have you ever done this cleanse or other ones before? What did you think? How did it work for you? Give me some advice! I'll be updating you everyday on my progress! Wish me luck! XO, FunSized

American Apparel Gloves

I recently purchased these fabulous fingerless gloves from American Apparel . This is my first pair of fingerless gloves and I love them. They're perfect for those moments when you need to check your phone when you're outside in the cold! They came in a bunch of different colors but I chose the black speckled with some color! Mine were only $12 which is pretty reasonable in my opinion! However, they have some on sale now for $5 , so hurry up and get them before these winter storms hit! P.S. It's also a perfect way to show off your manicure! ;)  Stay warm my friends! XO, FunSized

World Yacht Video

This summer I worked on a promo video for World Yacht at Pier 81 in New York City. It was a gorgeous summer day and the yacht ride was a perfect way to end it. The yacht rode along lower Manhattan; giving a gorgeous view of New York as well as New Jersey. Here's the video: As well as some production stills from the scenes I was in: Thanks for watching! Guest List Party @ The Jane Hotel

Last night was so FFC! Thanks to Guest of a Guest , I attended their 2012 NYC Innovators Guest List Party at The Jane Hotel . This was my first time going to The Jane Hotel which is located in the Meatpacking District, and I loved it. I have heard about the Jane before, but it definitely went above and beyond my expectations. The event took place within the ballroom which gave such a luxurious antique feel. There was a giant fireplace in the middle of the back wall, which had a rather large stuffed animal on it's mantel. All of the couches and chairs did not match in their color scheme but they were all made of vibrant colors and soft velvet fabrics. It gave off the perfect vibe for this party. The guests were sipping on Svedka and Heineken all night long as they grooved to the music. To see photos from the event that were taken by the lovely, Wendy Ploger , look at this link here: http://guestofaguest.com/new-york/galleries/2012/december/2012-nyc-innovators-guest-list-party-spon...

666 Park Avenue

Here's a screenshot of me in last night (December 2, 2012)'s episode of 666 Park Avenue on ABC! It was during the last three minutes of the episode. The camera really zoomed in on me as it was entering the bar. Take a look at the scene here:  http://abc.go.com/watch/666-park-avenue/SH55199790/VD55252612/hypnos This was so fun, flirty, and carefree! I had a such a fun time on set and the crew was so nice on 666! It's a shame it's coming to an end! XO, FunSized

Halloweekend Paws

HALLOWEEKEND! I thought this polish would be perfect for the start of the Halloween celebrations! I used the same glitter that I used last week from Sephora, Come to Paparazzi ! I did two coats and voila, you have the perfect set of glitter paws! They almost look leopard-like due to the orange, gold, and black glitter. I love love love this! It's so fun, flirty, and carefree! XO, FunSized

Autumn Nails

This is what my paws look like this week! The main color is "I'm with Brad" from Sephora by OPI Nail Polish  and my pinky nail or the accent nail is  Come to Pappa-razzi!  another Sephora by OPI Color. This is one of their new Jewelry Top Coats and this line is a MUST-HAVE for the holiday season. These glitter polishes are so fun, flirty, and carefree! Now when it comes to accent nails, most ladies paint their ring finger but I like to do my pinky. It is different and unique to me! So which nail are you going to choose to be your accent? If you need some inspiration I like using these two blogs: www.ginadoesnails.tumblr.com and http://nailsforsharks.tumblr.com/ .  Show me what your paws look like this week! XO, FunSized

Frolicking in the DMV

Last week I went down to the DMV, which stands for D.C., Maryland, and Virginia for a Fall-Frolic Getaway! I only went for four days but that was plenty of time to be fun, flirty and carefree while frolicking on the streets of our Nation's Capital.  To get there, I took the  Bolt Bus  from Newark Penn Station, NJ to Union Station, Washington D.C. Taking the bus is much more affordable than taking the train from NJ to DC. The Bolt Bus company has routes up and down the Northeast as well as the Pacific Northwest. If you are able to book your bus trip in advance sometimes you can get a $1 bus ride which always makes your frolicking even better!  On my first full day in D.C., I went to Georgetown to walk around on M Street and do some window shopping. M Street made me feel as if I was walking through an old village with all the brick and low buildings. They had all the shops you would ever need, too! Everything from Sephora, to American Apparel to even a Spri...
