Halloweekend Paws

HALLOWEEKEND! I thought this polish would be perfect for the start of the Halloween celebrations! I used the same glitter that I used last week from Sephora, Come to Paparazzi ! I did two coats and voila, you have the perfect set of glitter paws! They almost look leopard-like due to the orange, gold, and black glitter. I love love love this! It's so fun, flirty, and carefree! XO, FunSized

MacBar

One of my favorite places to go eat when I'm in the mood for a special treat is MacBar . It is located in Soho on Prince Street between Lafayette and Mulberry. Whenever you're in the mood for great mac and cheese this is the place to go! It is mac and cheese on a whole other level. They make so many different and fun kinds. This week I tried the Cheeseburger Mac for the first time! It can come in three different sizes. I got the small... since I'm FunSized, it was just the perfect amount of food for me (probably a bit too much but that's ok!). Just look at it! Doesn't it look delicious? Well, it was! It was driving me mad on the subway home, smelling its goodness coming from the bag. My favorite part is the top where the cheddar cheese is baked on top. The magarita mac is usually my go-to choice but I'm glad I switched it up with teh Cheeseburger mac. I am dying to try the mac lobsta'! One day I'll get it! Follow Mac Bar on Twitter . Have you

Into Spain at Pera Soho

On Wednesday, October 24, 2012, I attended the "Into Spain" Event at Pera Soho . This was my first time going to Pera Soho and I was stunned by its ambiance and exclusiveness. Pera is located at the corner of Broome and Thompson Streets.  As I was walking there, heading west on Broome Street, it was a bit of a puzzle to find the entrance. When I almost approached the corner, you get a bit of a tease of what you are about to see since there is a small peephole into the restaurant until you are blocked by what is a large cement wall that wraps around the corner. Finally the opening appeared on Thompson Street! I was astonished by what I saw next...That cement wall was blocking what is a gorgeous and secluded outdoor seating area with large red umbrellas, wooden furniture as well as private seating areas. I wish I would have known about this restaurant during the summer! Then I continued inside for the event. When you first walk in the bar is right in front of you, whic

A Great Meal in DC

If you're looking to have a fabulous meal with an even better view while frolicking around Washington D.C., head down to Washington Harbor and check out Sequoia ! Sequoia is the perfect spot to sit down, relax, enjoy a great meal after spending the day walking around Georgetown. It is only a few blocks away from the main drag of Georgetown, located on K Street. When you go there make sure to get a seat as close to the window as you can so you get a view of the Potomac River. The decor in the restaurant makes you feel as if you are floating at the bottom of the ocean. Just look at this lighting! How fun, flirty and carefree! Now before I tell you about what I ate, let me forwarn you by saying this is definitely a meal you need to plan to splurge on. If you are looking to have one pricey meal on your trip, Sequoia is the place to go to. I went there for lunch but it will be just as good if you go for dinner. I had their Maryland Jumbo Lump Crab Cake and it was delicious! It w

Autumn Nails

This is what my paws look like this week! The main color is "I'm with Brad" from Sephora by OPI Nail Polish  and my pinky nail or the accent nail is  Come to Pappa-razzi!  another Sephora by OPI Color. This is one of their new Jewelry Top Coats and this line is a MUST-HAVE for the holiday season. These glitter polishes are so fun, flirty, and carefree! Now when it comes to accent nails, most ladies paint their ring finger but I like to do my pinky. It is different and unique to me! So which nail are you going to choose to be your accent? If you need some inspiration I like using these two blogs: www.ginadoesnails.tumblr.com and http://nailsforsharks.tumblr.com/ .  Show me what your paws look like this week! XO, FunSized

Frolicking in the DMV

Last week I went down to the DMV, which stands for D.C., Maryland, and Virginia for a Fall-Frolic Getaway! I only went for four days but that was plenty of time to be fun, flirty and carefree while frolicking on the streets of our Nation's Capital.  To get there, I took the  Bolt Bus  from Newark Penn Station, NJ to Union Station, Washington D.C. Taking the bus is much more affordable than taking the train from NJ to DC. The Bolt Bus company has routes up and down the Northeast as well as the Pacific Northwest. If you are able to book your bus trip in advance sometimes you can get a $1 bus ride which always makes your frolicking even better!  On my first full day in D.C., I went to Georgetown to walk around on M Street and do some window shopping. M Street made me feel as if I was walking through an old village with all the brick and low buildings. They had all the shops you would ever need, too! Everything from Sephora, to American Apparel to even a Sprinkles Cupcakes
